Faith Presbyterian Church is a growing church located in the Indian Land area of Lancaster County, SC. We are a Christian community founded on God's love as we encounter it in the person of Jesus. We are a part of a connectional church in that God connects us with all Christian churches in our trust in Jesus and, in particular, God connects us to all other Presbyterian Church (USA) churches by a shared theology, form of government, mission and commitment. We worship on Sunday mornings at our worship center at 7520 Charlotte Highway. We are located at the intersection of Charlotte Highway (US Highway 521) and Van Wyck Road on the site of the historic Six Mile Creek Presbyterian Church, which now houses our Church offices. We are literally minutes from Fort Mill, SC, Ballantyne (South Charlotte), NC and Waxhaw, NC.
The Endowment Fund was created to provide Faith Presbyterian Church with a solid financial foundation to ensure the longevity of the church for future generations. It is intended to enhance the church’s ministry and witness to the love of God in Jesus Christ. The Fund is built entirely upon the vision and generosity of Faith members and is totally separate from the church’s annual operating budget and building funds. Gifts to the Endowment Fund become a part of a perpetual fund with earnings used to expand and enrich the mission and ministry of Faith Church. Available funds of no more than 3% can be distributed to support projects that are above and beyond normal budgeted items. You are invited to be a part of Faith’s Endowment Fund. Gifts of any amount are an excellent way to create a lasting memorial or tribute in honor of a person, or to leave a legacy to the church through planned giving. As the violence in Ukraine continues, the number of people being displaced internally and fleeing to neighboring countries increases by the day. And in the midst of the chaos, there are sibling churches and ecumenical partners who are already providing assistance with basic items for survival. PDA's first priority is to provide funding to these partners on the ground. While the scale of this crisis is new, receiving refugees from Ukraine and other countries in Central and Eastern Europe Is not, which means we have trusted, established partners with the knowledge and expertise to carry out this Important work. Our response will include both financial and technical assistance as the network of faith communities providing humanitarian assistance grows in the months ahead.
